Google Slashes its Google Drive Prices by 80%

Google on its official Blog declared that they are making a huge cut to the prices of its Cloud service Google Drive. Google Drive has been around for two years and is by default provided to Google Mail Users. It initially provides 15 GB for free for their free Users and you will have to pay to get more space.

Google announced that it is significantly lowering its prices yesterday. Its 100 GB plan, which was previously $4.99 per month, is now $1.99. Most interesting, however, is the massive price cut Google made for its 1 terabyte plan. Originally at $49.99, 1 TB of storage now costs $9.99 per month.

With this offer Google is ready to compete with popular Online Cloud Storage services like Box and Dropbox whose rates are very higher compared to this. The Online Storage War is on, Choose your side.
